I figured a martini to celebrate all things Oscar needed to have red (in honor of the red carpet) and gold (in honor of the statue). So, after lots of mixing and sampling (my favorite part!), I have come up with a pretty and festive martini for your Oscar weekend.....or any time mama needs a martini!
Gold Pom Pom Martini
2 ounces citrus vodka
1/2 ounce Goldschleiger schnapps
1 ounce pomegranate juice
2 ounces lemonade
Add all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cranberry (optional).
