I've been asked to talk today about Cascade Platinum Pacs. If there is one thing I have grown particular about recently, it's dishwashing detergent. I can never seem to find one that works effectively in my average, run-of-the-mill dishwasher. So when I was asked by Mom Central to review these new detergent pacs, I was happy to join in.

I loaded my dishwasher without pre-rinsing the plates. My dishes take abuse from 3 kids and home-cooked meals. I ran the load on the normal wash cycle. Except for a few glasses with very minor residue, the dishes were amazingly sparkly! I was pleasantly surprised. The dishwasher walls were clean and the fresh scent of the detergent lingered (a plus).
