Are you like me? It's late May and you are already thinking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog arriving in your mailbox. You have friends who receive their's and yours hasn't arrived yet. You scream! Then the sale gets closer. You praise Nordstrom for offering early access to Nordstrom cardholders. All is right in the world.
OK, I don't want this to come across as sounding shallow. While I suppose frivolous shopping is a bit shallow, the crux of this post is to praise Nordstrom and highlight why I love this sale....and Nordstrom in general.
I've always loved shopping and fashion. And I've always been a stickler for quality and good customer service. What I love about Nordstrom in general is their fashion sense, their adherence to quality, their AMAZING return policy, and their good 'ol fashioned customer service. I've returned items well over a year old and it's no problem. I call and I don't get an automated phone system, someone picks up the phone (read my previous article here on that topic).
I also love how their is a wide range of sizes for one fashion item. While they still do have specialized departments (i.e., Petite Focus and Encore, to name a few), I can still find many items and not be worried about if it will fit.
Finally, the sale. The sale to end all sales. It's all your favorites....and some new items that will become your favorites. It's competitively priced. It's top notch quality. Maybe you can only afford that really great bra. Maybe you can get those amazing shoes that will last forever for your kids. Whatever your pleasure, the sale satisfies.
**Disclosure: I was not approached or solicited by Nordstrom to write this article. This is my personal opinion and insight.
