I have been a lifelong music FAN. As a child, I had records and my favorites were Elton John and Chicago. I even vividly remember taking my Carpenter's album to pre-school for sharing day. You can imagine that my addiction to music was even more intense in high school. I honestly was a record store owner's dream. I loved buying all genres of music. I loved Duran Duran, oldies like Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, as well as metal faves like Bon Jovi and Poison.
So, when I had the opportunity to finally attend the upcoming Harefest in my hometown, I was excited. It's the 4th installment of the 2-day concert and my husband and I were actually going to be in town this time around!
Harefest (the concert takes place in Canby, Oregon) is a nostalgic Music Festival featuring some the best tribute and cover bands in the Northwest. It takes place outdoors at the Wild Hare Saloon. It's a 2-day festival, covering Saturday night and during the day on Sunday (that's a change from last year to make it a bit more convenient for fans).. Think of it as 24 hours of music and fun! Drinks and beer will be available, as well as numerous local food vendor booths. The line-up includes bands paying homage to Bon Jovi, Guns 'n Roses, Van Halen, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Heart, Journey, Rod Stewart, The Eagles, REO Speedwagon, and Led Zeppelin. There is a little something for everyone!
