I Was Tired

It's been a l-o-n-g time since I've missed a Monday blog post.  So, it was hard for me to not publish an article yesterday for my readers.  But here is the shocking truth:  I was tired!

I have been extremely busy lately.  Of course, my 3 children keep me very busy and their Spring schedules are packed.  As many of you know, I run a wholesale wedding favor business and we are in the thick of wedding season.  Pair that with me taking on a larger role in day-to-day operations (translation: less employees) and you've got a recipe for long days and late nights, as I don't have child care for my youngest, who is only in pre-school 2 days/week.

Then, I hurt my back severely last week.  The cause was either getting back into running a little too hard....or yard work.  At any rate, it set me way back.  Acupuncture has helped, but I am still recovering.

Last week was a busy blogging week:  heavy posts and a weekly blog hop that requires a lot of of my attention and work.

So, as I sat down Sunday night to prep for the week, meal plan, catch up on business invoicing, I simply did not have it in me to write a post.  Furthermore, I think I was so tired, that no inspiration was really striking me of what to write.  So, that is the tell tale indicator to definitely NOT write a post.

So, rest assured, I am here!  I am inspired and dedicated to my readers.  Stay tuned for some fun times this week.

If you like what you're reading, I invite you to follow my blog.  Cheers!

  1. Oh hope you are feeling better Meg and I have a bad lower back (sciatica) from the end of my second pregnancy. I still go to a chiropractor once a week for maintenance now. So, I know how painful back injuries can be. Thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way!! :)

  3. It's okay to miss a Monday post, or any post! Everyone needs to put themselves first, and I hope your back feels better. I know how awful that feels. :( Take it easy.

    XOXO,
