We have officially entered back to school season! So, ideas are flowing for school lunch ideas and healthy snacks for the kids. Today, I offer up a perfect, quick after school snack, care of eMeals. These Nutella Grahams are sure the please the kiddos when they get home from school.
Nutella Grahams
Ingredients:
Graham crackers
Nutella spread
Wheat germ (feel free to sub ground flax seed or crushed almonds if you don't have wheat germ on hand)
Dip graham crackers in chocolate hazelnut spread and sprinkle lightly with
wheat germ. Serve with milk for a little calcium boost! Nutella does have dairy; if your kids are allergic or dairy intolerant, I have found some good alternative chocolate spreads without dairy at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. You can also find healthier versions of graham crackers at these stores, too.
eMeals makes back to school meal planning super simple! Each week you are emailed meal planning for dinners for the entire week, along with a grocery list completely organized and planned out for you. You also get bonuses, like the snack idea in this article. I subscribe to the natural/organic plan and I love it. There are a variety of meal plans to choose from to fit your lifestyle. It inspires me to try new recipes.
The best part is that they have extended a discount to my readers for their service. Use the code SCHOOL15 to receive 15% off your subscription. Just click here to get started!
Good luck with back to school with your kids!
