My Two Cents on Palmolive Fresh Infusions

It was an exciting day on Tuesday.  I received my first VoxBox from Influenster.  For those of you now familiar with Influenster yet, it is a free-to-join community of invited trendsetters who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influenster creates links between brands and members to reward participation and influence future products.  There is heavy promotion through social media on the products you sample.  It's also a great site to network, write reviews on products, submit products you think deserve kudos, and more.

My first VoxBox is a three pack of Palmolive's new soap line, Fresh Infusions.  I was immediately impressed with the bottle design, colors, and scent combinations.  The three scent I received are (from left to right):  Ginger White Tea,  Lemon Thyme, and Lime Basil.  Out of the three, the Lime Basil is my favorite.  I love those two scents independently, as well as together.  It's such a fresh, clean, yet feminine scent for the kitchen.  But I'm being honest when I saw the other two scents are not far behind.  They are both quite pleasing, too!  My only suggestion would be to make the lemon thyme a little more "lemony".  I think all of us are used to lemon-scented products having that refreshing lemon zest smell, and it just needs a little more of that.

The bottles in and of themselves are attractive for your counter and are pleasing to look at. I think they will really stand out on store shelves!  But I had to delve a little deeper into the claims stated on the front of the bottle.

The first statement is "naturally inspired".  I believe what they are aiming at here is the fact that the scents are based on naturally occuring, "in nature", tangible items like ginger, citrus fruits, and herbs.  It does not state specifically how these scents are derived, so I would like to know if they are natural scents, or factory-created.  The product is phosphate-free, which is a plus and easier on the environment.

The second statement on the front of the bottle is "sparkling clean".  I would affirm this statement and say that yes, this did get my dishes sparkling clean.  It was also fairly concentrated, so a little bit went a long way.

I don't buy bleach or ever use bleach-based cleaners, so the warning on the back of the bottle did stand out to me.  It states "do not mix with bleach".  Now, I know this is a common warning with products like ammonia.  But I've never seen this on a dish liquid bottle.  I'm curious what the chemical reaction would be if bleach were added?

Finally, I like that this product is made in the U.S.A.  Start reading your labels, people! Products that you wouldn't imagine would be anything but made in the U.S.A. might be made overseas.....even cleaning products.  So, this quality of the product stands out as a big thumbs up for me.

I have a few extra coupons on my hands!  And they are valuable, too....$1.50 off!  Shoot me an email and I will drop one in the mail to you, no charge for postage! I just ask that you take the time to follow my blog via Google Friends Connect and/or Bloglovin'.  Happy sudsing!
