Reese's 2 Minute Yogurt Dip

By Meg Hodson

I received a complimentary jar of Reese's Spreads from Influenster for me to try and review. All opinions remain 100% my own.

I suppose if you are not a peanut butter lover, then this post is not for you. But if you are, then be prepare to be amazed.

I am not a sweets or candy girl AT ALL. No joke, I don't really get the "sugar cravings" like a lot of people do. I don't have a candy drawer in my office. I can pass the candy aisle no problem at the store.

But there is one candy that I don't necessarily crave, but absolutely love. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I especially love them during the holidays, where somehow the peanut butter is even fluffier and better.  You know what I'm talking about: Reese's trees, eggs, and more.

So, when I was asked to sample Hershey's new spreads. it was a no brainer. But would it be as fluffy and good as the Reese's peanut butter cups that I love?

Well, it's a spread, so it is much thicker in consistency than the fluffiness of the cups. But that makes sense and works for a spread. The balance is perfect between the flavor of the peanut butter and chocolate; it's not overly salty or chocolaty.

I am sure this spread is delicious on toast and even with celery sticks, but the only way my family has eaten it thus far is straight out of the jar!

Okay, of course, after spooning the deliciousness, I couldn't help but throw together a quick, simple, healthier take on the spread. It couldn't be easier to make this recipe and it's a fun treat for the kids for an after school snack.

Reese's 2 Minute Yogurt Dip
1/2 cup Reese's Spreads
1/2 cup whole milk plain yogurt

Whish together ingredients rapidly with a whisk for 1 minute or so. Transfer to a small bowl and serve with apple slices, bananas, strawberries, even celery sticks.

Fun fact: the identifiable orange that Reese's uses as the background on their products is trademarked. Who knew?
